Hiromi Suji - Bio [Meganebu! OC]

I started watching this anime and I absolutely couldn't resist. I HAD to write this, and it would not be put on hold. I'm pretty happy with her, I think, and I can now move onto the commissions that I should have been doing. >///<

I actually drew this picture twice. Both because I changed her design a little, and I didn't like how it turned out; especially the glasses. I've never drawn them before, but I think they turned out better this time.

Onto the Bio!

Short Bio:
Hiromi is the seventeen year old cousin of Hayato. She is very, very shy, but also quite intelligent. Hiromi has a passion for the arts, especially performance arts. She's a rather good singer and actress herself, but is usually too shy to do anything with it. Hiromi is very sweet and kind, but can become sharp when flustered, which she becomes easily upon being teased. Hiromi grew up in a small town with her parents. Her parents weren't home often, busy at work, but they were very kind and got along fairly well with their daughter non the less. Hiromi got picked on quite a bit in her younger years, elementary and middle school. Nothing too serious, though, luckily. Still, because of this she didn't have any friends and focused on her studies. She was given an invitation to go to a fairly prestigious High School out of town, and of course, accepted. She moved in with her cousin Hayato's family. Though she was reclusive for her first year, anxious about getting good grades, but her aunt and cousin's eventually convinced her to make some friends. Hayato introduced her to the glasses club, where she was finally able to make friends.

Personality and Past:
Personality: Hiromi is mostly known for being very shy. She has a great deal of trouble speaking with people she’s unfamiliar with, often stumbling on her words and turning pink when she tries. Because of this she has a hard time meeting new people and making new friends, which has led to her having rather introverted tendencies. She’s also learned to do things mostly on her own, which leads her to sometimes not even consider asking for help, much to the dismay of her friends. Still, Hiromi is kind to a fault, and very sweet. However, Hiromi is also very easily flustered, and when she becomes such she can be rather sharp. Even so, it’s usually more comical than anything. Being as kind as she is, Hiromi tries to make everyone happy, which can cause problems for herself along the way, though, as her efforts are out of balance. She still tries to keep everyone as happy as she can, and it isn’t uncommon for her to shoulder the blame in things that are not her fault; Hiromi has been noted for apologizing too much, to which that may be a contributing factor. Hiromi is especially kind to her friends, when she’s able to make them, and is always there for them, putting them first. However, as independent as she tries to be, Hiromi finds herself needing the same kind of treatment, as she has a habit of relying on others when she is able. Hiromi is known for being a pretty neutral person with most things, however when she does have an opinion towards something, it’s a strong one. Hiromi is passionate about what she likes especially, but has a very hard time expressing herself, mostly because of her shyness. This especially comes into play with her love of the preforming arts. Still, Hiromi always does her best, giving one-hundred percent in everything she attempts. Still, partially because of all the effort she puts into things, Hiromi can become easily discouraged when things don’t go right. Hiromi is pretty easy going, and is good at finding fun in the simple things. She can be easily overwhelmed when a lot is going on at once, however. Still, she likes to laugh, and laughs easily. Despite not being funny, jokes she tells comically terrible, if she tries to tell one, she has a good sense of humor. She has a hard time only when she is the brunt of a joke that could be considered insulting, as she is rather insecure, and struggles with a low level of confidence. Hiromi has also been noted for being fairly naïve, and oblivious.
Past: Hiromi grew up in a small town. Her parents were kind and loved her dearly, but were seldom at home, as they were both fairly successful business people, and at work most of the time. Too shy to make friends, Hiromi spent most of her time alone. With an abundance of free time, she was able to focus her time into her academics, mostly, but also into building a talent in some of the arts, which she’d always had a passion for. Hiromi was often top of her class, but never was able to make any friends. Because of this, she was an easy target for others to pick on. She was bullied through middle school, though luckily it wasn’t too severe. Still, it caused the confidence that Hiromi always struggled with to plummet even further. Hiromi always kept up with her studies, which she actually enjoyed most of the time. Graduating top of her class from middle school, Hiromi was invited to attend a fairly prestigious high school. This school was located fairly near to Himaraya Thrid. Her parents, of course, supported this, and arranged to have Hiromi sent out to live with family for the duration of her high school career. She moved in with her cousin Hayato’s family at the beginning of her first year. She mostly kept to herself then, anxious about getting good grades in the new school. Though there are still a few people who like to pick on Hiromi in her new school, it is inconsistent and never too mean. Things are much better there than at her old schools. However, after her first year finished, her cousins finally managed to convince her to try and make some friends. Hayato ended up introducing her to the members of the glasses club. She befriended them, and now often spends time with them when she can, after school or even sometimes during lunch, if she’s able. She is now considered an honorary member of the glasses club.

Father: Suji, Tamaki – 47; Tamaki is a kind man. He has a nurturing nature, though he has tendency to hyper-focus on things. Success is also very important to him, so he craves it. Positive and ambitious, he is always looking for ways to get ahead, though because of his kindness he doesn’t always take them. Tamaki, like his daughter, has a hard time saying no to people, and he can end up being a bit of a doormat. Still, he is charismatic, if not a bit of a schmoozer at times. Tamaki stands at around 5’8 with an average figure. He has short, neatly organized dark brown hair with a short, curly cowlick, and black eyes.
Mother: Suji, Satomi – 47; Satomi is very kind, but she can sometimes rub people the wrong way, as she is very straightforward. She doesn’t pull any punches, and always speaks her mind. She can do so tactfully, if she feels that she needs to, but she usually prefers not to. She is always ell-intentioned in her doings though, and is very earnest. She can be a little naïve sometimes, as she is very honest and expects the same of others. Much like her husband, Satomi is success oriented, and always strives to move up in life. Hiromi gets her looks from her mother, having many of the same features. Satomi hair nice, fair skin, thick black hair that she usually wears straight, with bangs cut neatly. She stands around 5’5, and has a thin figure. The most striking difference between Hiromi and her mother is her mother’s eyes are a striking hazel.

Hayato: Being cousins, the two have known each other for a long time. They never really knew each other well until Hiromi moved in with Hayato’s family, though, just hanging out at family reunions. Hiromi tends to tease Hayato a lot, which can irk him a little, but they seem to get along well. They are very close, and both feel that they can talk to the other about anything if they need to. Though Hiromi likes to make fun of Hayato, she also is kind to him, and pays more attention to him than other members of the glasses club seem to.
Other Closest/Best Friends:
Akira: Hiromi took a liking to Akira right away, and the two get along well. She admires his passion and drive for things, even if it can be a little over the top sometimes. He makes her laugh a lot, too. From the moment the two met, Hiromi found Akira very kind, especially after he freely welcomed her company in the glasses club. They’ve gotten along very well since then.
Takuma: The two find each other’s company relaxing, and like to be around each other. They’ve gotten to know each other quite well, as most of the time they spend together is spent talking, sometimes over tea, and often while eating cream puffs.
Yukiya: Though the two get along quite well, they don’t know each other quite as well, as they are both have fairly quiet or shy personalities. Neither one takes the initiative to speak to the other generally, so they aren’t seen together much. Still, they have been shown to get along quite well when they do end up together.

Mitsuki: The two have a bit of a rocky relationship. Mitsuki is sometimes irritated by the attention Akira pays to Hiromi, or otherwise jealous. He is also iffy about her relation to Hayato. Still, despite this, the two have been shown to get along sometimes, when Mitsuki lets his guard down.

Suzuki: Though neither one really have anything in particular against each other, they have a mutual dislike of each other. Hiromi has a difficult time ignoring him and sometimes finds him irritating, and other times she has even been noted to be slightly intimidated by his threats. Hiromi’s affiliation with the glasses club, and her close friendship with Akira, have led Suzuki to dislike her as well. However, the two buld a bit of a mutual respect for one another after the cultural festival.
Enemies:
Kathrine White: A popular American girl from Hiromi’s school. Kathrine is one of the most antagonistic people towards Hiromi, often at least making some sort of snide comment when they cross paths. This isn’t too often, as they share only one class, and the campus is rather large, luckily. Still, the two have come to really, really dislike each other. Kathrine is popular in the school due to her beauty and charismatic nature. However, she is judgemental and opinionated, often deciding who she wants as a friend and who she doesn’t very quickly. Kathrine is protective of her friends, but very bitter. That is part of the reason she picks on people she dislikes. Kathrine has curly blonde hair and big blue eyes. She’s pretty tall, standing around 5’7. She is undeniable very pretty, something Hiromi will admit to being jealous of.

Kathrine: Though Hiromi hates to have to admit it, Kathrine is very intelligent. They are rivals in terms of grades.

Hachiro Miamoto: A shy classmate of Hiromi’s. He has short, but always messy black hair and blue eyes. Hachiro is very tall, standing around 6’0 tall. He is a fairly confident person, at least in terms of his abilities, but he is too bashful to show it. He is a very sweet guy, but often overlooked because he is so quiet. He is also very perceptive. Hachiro is in quite a few of Hiromi’s classes, and the two met upon being partnered up for an assignment. This happened a few times, and through these assignments Hachiro developed a bit of a crush on Hiromi.
Love Interest(s):
Akira Souma: The two have developed a mutual crush on each other, though neither one has really acted on it, aside from idle flirting. Of course, neither one knows of the others feelings. Hiromi excluded, the whole glasses club knows of Akira’s feelings, and though Hiromi hasn’t told anyone about hers, Hayato has sort of perceived them. Hiromi knows that she wants to pursue her feelings, but has not been able to work up the courage, as she doesn’t know if Akira feels the same.

Most of the time Hiromi is seen in her school’s uniform, wearing a white blouse that is too large under a school jacket, coloured mostly black with white and red accents. She wears her school’s skirt, a mostly black article with a two strips at the bottom, one white and the lower one red. She wears black stockings that go up to her mid-calf, covered in flat, white, mary-jane style shoes. Casually, Hiromi can generally be seen in nice, but loose blouses, and jeans, or occasionally skirts, with flats, usually.
