“Luffy…” Your gasp nearly got caught in your throat, voice coming out as nothing more than a forcibly strangled whisper. One hand raised to cover your quivering lips as you desperately tried to keep at bay the tears that stabbed at your eyes, stinging hotly as they formed behind your eyes. Despite your efforts, Luffy’s bloodied and battered form, limping pitifully toward you and the rest of his crew, began to blurr. After a few moments, he ran out of energy. Too exhausted to stand, he fell to his knees, slumping down under his own weight.
“Luffy!” You called out to him breathlessly, taking off towards him before anyone could have stopped you. In attempts to hurry yourself in blind worry you stumbled over yourself all the way to his slouched silhouette. You dropped to your knees upon nearing him, sliding the rest of the way to him. You ignored the pain as rocks dug into your soft flesh, scraping and tearing it, leaving jagged and dirty cuts in their wake.
“Oh my god…” You whispered, looking him over frantically, similarly to the way Chopper sometimes observed his patients. Frenzied, urgently. Slowly you stopped yourself, knowing that wouldn’t help any; that wasn’t what he need of you right now. You could see the shadow that covered over his usually happy eyes, and suddenly you couldn’t hold back your sob. Your shoulders wracked pitifully, and you buried your shoulder carefully into his, face contorting in grief once it was hidden. One hand gripped tightly to the red fabric of his shirt near your head, the other slipping around his neck. You could feel hot blood stick to your arm as it slipped through it, sliding until you found an untainted spot to grip onto. Wordlessly, Luffy leaned his heavy head on your shoulder, without the energy to do anything else.
“Luffy…” You sniffled, attempting to hold yourself to together, a boat tied down with frayed strings, “don’t… don’t do that again. Promise me… I can’t lose you.” You stuttered out words that were barely unintelligible on their own, broken by sniffles and small, hushed sobs. Shakily and slowly, Luffy raised an arm. He wrapped it around your back, letting his hand fall to rest on your shoulder; but he didn’t say a word.

Intercoursept. (Luffy x Reader)
It was a peaceful evening on the Thousand Sunny; so peaceful in fact, almost everyone decided to relax in their rooms- almost everyone except you and your captain, Luffy. Simultaneously taking in deep breaths of the pure sea air, you both let smiles paint your relaxed faces. Leaning a bit closer to your tanned boyfriend, looking out towards the beautifully painted sky, nothing disturbing the well-blended- except for that..
Squinting your eyes, you glanced back at Luffy who had his eyes closed, enjoying the wind blow through his hair. Your eyes slid back out towards the open sea, seeing the object go across the horizon. Bringing up your hand,

Free You~ Luffy x Reader
Another day in this wretched tower, another sad song leaves your lips as you gaze out the window. With a sigh you turn your gaze back to the papers. The lyrics all depressing. You yearned to be free again, like you had been before your uncle had taken the throne.
"Yosh!" Someone says, flipping in through the window. You let out a surprised cry, looking over to see a guy in a strawhat.
"You- how???" You gasp, abruptly getting to your feet.
"I slingshot up here... Was that you singing just now?" He asks, straightening up.
"You could hear?" You breath in surprise.
"The whole town c

"Luffy! Luffy~" You call. Getting closer to the bar where the pirates liked to hang.
"Hello little ___, looking for Luffy?" Beckman guesses when you walk in.
"Mhm! Is he here?" You ask. He smiles and nods toward the counter. You go over to find the boy sitting with Shanks. "Luffy!" You chime, going over. The boy looks over and down from his stool.
"Hi ___! Did you find it?" Luffy asks.
"Mhm! You wanna go now?" You reply cheerfully.
"What are you two up to?" Shanks inquires.
"We're going treasur

Extra setting details: I imagine reader-swan to be fairly new to Luffy's crew. Somewhat romantically involved with him, but not really past the point of obvious mutual interest, though. Luffy went off and did something unnecessary (Perhaps even to protect/avenge Reader or something? ) and she's rather upset, as he actually lost, or at least fared pretty badly and almost died. That's just my take on it, what I imagined writing it, though. You may imagine the situation as you wish, though!
On another note... WHY AM I DOING THIS? I have other drabbles and roleplay's to get to! Besides, I already wrote a Luffy oneshot! T-T
And for the love of God, why ANGST? And why is it so short?
Whatever. I hope you enjoy; thanks for reading!
If you are interested though, I'll drop a link to the other oneshot. It's unconnected to this one, though; it's also more of a humorous one. ^^
